Kohli removed from ODI captaincy as Rohit becomes new ODI captain:
Ajinkya Rahane has been removed from the Test vice Captaincy.
Virat Kohli was removed from the National Selection committee as India’s ODI captain on Wednesday, making Rohit Sharma the team’s only white ball leader until 2023 50- over World Cup.
In another important development, Ajinkya Rahane was removed from the test vice-captaincy. This position is also assigned to Rohit.
BCCI has announced a team of 18 people in three test series. This does not include all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, spinner Axar Patel, and opener Shubman Gil due to various injuries.
Hanuma Bihari celebrated his return to the main team and Ishant Sharma was able to maintain his position despite his weak form.
