Meet Himani Mor: The Tennis Star Who Stole Neeraj Chopra’s Heart!
Himani Mor, born on June 26, 1999, in Larsauli village, Sonipat, Haryana, is a distinguished Indian tennis player and sports management professional. She developed an early passion for tennis, practicing on her home’s rooftop due to the absence of local facilities. Recognizing her dedication, her father constructed a tennis court in their village to support her training.
For her education, Himani attended Little Angels School in Panipat. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Education from Miranda House, Delhi University. Furthering her academic journey, she enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports Management and Administration at the McCormack Isenberg School of Management in Massachusetts, USA.
In her tennis career, Himani achieved notable rankings, reaching 42 in singles and 27 in doubles in 2018, according to the All India Tennis Association (AITA). She has represented India in several international tournaments and has been associated with Amherst College as an assistant coach for the women’s tennis team.
On January 19, 2025, Himani Mor married Neeraj Chopra, India’s celebrated javelin thrower and double Olympic medalist, in a private ceremony. The couple shared their joy on social media, expressing gratitude for the blessings that brought them together.
