Shares of Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure rose up to 5% following the group's entry into Bhutan's renewable energy market. 

Bhutan Expansion 

Reliance Power and Reliance Infra, part of the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group, have partnered with Druk Holding and Investments, the commercial arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan. 

New Joint Venture 

The collaboration will focus on renewable energy projects, including solar and hydroelectric power, with a total capacity of 1,270 MW. 

Focus on Green Energy 

The joint venture will prioritize green energy generation, focusing on 500 MW of solar energy and 770 MW of hydro energy. 

Reliance Enterprises 

To manage the Bhutan project, Reliance Group has established a new entity named Reliance Enterprises. 

Fundraising Plans 

Reliance Power is planning a board meeting to outline fundraising strategies to expand its renewable energy portfolio. 

Reliance Infra Fundraising 

Last month, Reliance Infrastructure approved a preferential issue to raise ₹3,014.4 crore by issuing equity shares. 

Strategic Revival 

These initiatives appear to be part of a broader strategy by Anil Ambani to revive the Reliance Group's business prospects.
