Prime Minister Modi’s Surprise Visit to LK Advani – You Won’t Believe What Happened on His 96th Birthday!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated the 96th birthday of the esteemed BJP stalwart, Lal Krishna Advani, on Wednesday, offering his warm wishes during a visit to Advani Ji’s residence. The Prime Minister conveyed, ‘I paid a visit to Advani Ji’s home to convey my birthday wishes,’ in a post shared on X, along with photographs capturing the moments shared with the venerable leader.
Photographs circulated on social media depicted Lal Krishna Advani seated alongside the Prime Minister, along with senior BJP figures like Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.
At the outset of the day, Prime Minister Modi conveyed his felicitations to LK Advani on X, stating, “Wishing a happy birthday to LK Advani Ji. He stands as a shining example of integrity and unwavering commitment, with his remarkable contributions that have fortified our nation. His visionary leadership has propelled our nation’s advancement and unity.
“I extend my wishes for his well-being and a prolonged, healthy life. His unwavering dedication to the cause of nation-building continues to serve as a wellspring of inspiration for the 1.4 billion citizens,” he appended.
Amit Shah, the Union home minister, also extended his birthday greetings to the venerable 96-year-old leader, emphasizing that he remains an everlasting source of motivation for all BJP members. He expressed, “Warm birthday wishes to the revered Lal Krishna Advani ji. Advani ji’s tireless efforts and exceptional organizational skills have nurtured our party and its dedicated workers. From the very inception of the BJP to its ascension to power, Advani ji’s unparalleled contributions stand as a perpetual source of encouragement for every member. My prayers go out for his enduring health and well-being,” Shah conveyed on X.
In addition to Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah, a host of other leaders, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur, Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal, Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman, and various others, conveyed their birthday wishes to Advani.
Hailing from Karachi, Lal Krishna Advani was born in 1927 and initiated his political journey as a dedicated volunteer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His illustrious career includes serving as the Minister of Home Affairs in the BJP-led NDA government from 1998 to 2004. Advani also held the significant role of Deputy Prime Minister under the leadership of the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, from 2002 to 2004. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Advani was honored with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan in 2015, India’s second-highest civilian accolade.
