Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, however, suggested that the statement ought to be interpreted in the context of promoting sexual education.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has additionally called for an “immediate and unequivocal apology” from the Chief Minister on behalf of all Indian women. The Chairperson, Rekha Sharma, expressed her opinion that his ‘crass’ remarks were an insult to the dignity and respect that every woman is entitled to.
Sharma remarked, “The use of such derogatory and vulgar language in his speech casts a dark shadow on our society. When a leader can openly make such comments in a democratic setup, one can only imagine the distress the state must be enduring under his leadership. We strongly oppose such conduct and demand accountability.
